I've been in this industry for 9 years now and when I got started I was looking for something I could truly
do from home online and on the phone as I had a newborn and a one year old at the time.
What I found, though, was that I was told to make a list of friends and family, I was told that when I'm out
and about to strike up conversations with strangers and ask what they do so they would ask me what I
do and then I'd have 30 seconds to get them interested in my business! It was suggested that I do home
presentations or one on one presentations. Does any of that ring a bell?
Now, these are all very valid ways of building a business and many people do this very successfully, but it
wasn't what "I” wanted to do. I remember asking myself, "Was this really the only way to succeed?” And
even though these companies had websites, how to market them seemed like a big secret! I was also
introduced to leads and how we can buy them and then I would have a bunch of people to talk to about
my business. Well let's just say the lessons I've learned were valuable. Even if you have advertising
budget to buy leads, if you don't know how to talk with them, they can be a very ineffective way to build
your business.
What I saw immediately with Green Organics besides their incredible product line, was a company that
was put together BECAUSE of the lack of tools, the lack of training and even the lack of ethics that
goes on in this industry. I saw a real home where people can actually hang their hat and stay a while. A
company that cares so much about people succeeding that they GIVE us everything we need including
enough people to talk with, AND one of the best trainers in this industry to actually teach us how to
connect and effectively talk with these people. This company is doing things that have never been done
before in this industry.
